The Speakers
Student Speaker: Osmarth Espejo Enríquez

Osmarth Espejo Enríquez is a proud first-generation student graduating with an associate degree in Communications. Originally from Texas, Osmarth relocated to California and found a new beginning through education. As a student, he’s used his voice to advocate for equity and opportunity, speaking at the California State Capitol and representing the stories of students often left unheard. Throughout his time at SRJC, Osmarth has been deeply involved with EOPS, a support program for students facing economic and educational barriers, and the Puente Project, which focuses on college access and leadership for Latinx students. He has also engaged in statewide advocacy efforts, helping lead conversations on access, identity, and representation. His passion for media and storytelling is rooted in his belief that communication can spark meaningful change—and that every student’s voice matters. As the 2025 Student Commencement Speaker, Osmarth is honored to represent not just his own journey, but the courage, persistence, and collective triumph of the Class of 2025.
