NOTE: If your work is selected for the exhibition at the Museum of Sonoma County, you will be contacted to resubmit your image at a high resolution.
Media Submission Guidelines
All forms of photography are accepted including: color, black and white, digital, analog, alternative processes, drone, and mixed media.
Do not submit slideshows, PowerPoint presentations, animations, movies, audio with images or embed images into Microsoft Word.
You are only as strong as your weakest image! Make sure all of your photographs are consistent both technically and creatively.
Do not place a watermark, your name, or any identifying information in or on your media submissions.
You are responsible for the quality of the submission, and for adherence to guidelines. Incomplete or improperly formatted submissions will not be considered for an award.
- Formatting Images: Image File Size: Minimum 1MB/Maximum 5 MB.
- Image File Format: JPEG (JPG)
- Image File Resolution: 300 dpi
- Color space: sRGB
Each image must be saved as a JPG file and uploaded separately. No more than 4 images in total.
Files should be labeled last name, first name and entry number.

Under “Print Size”, please select the size at which you would ideally like the work to be printed. If digital photography is your medium, please note the largest dimension size* is dependent on the size of your file. If your work is selected, you will be contacted to submit a larger file if available.
*This is referring to resolution. Note the largest size at which you want your photo to be printed, but make sure the file can be printed at high resolution.
